Pop sensation Justin Bieber, who was slapped with a paternity lawsuit brought by 20-year-old Mariah Yeater from California last week, has agreed to take a test in a fortnight to prove he is not the father.

According to TMZ the singers lawyer, Howard Weitzman, got in contact with attorneys representing the young girl on Friday telling them that they want to take a DNA test. Weitzman also made it clear that once the test proves that Bieber is not the father they plan on suing Yeater for making false accusations. Bieber’s handlers are so serious they apparently directed their legal team to selected a lab to conduct the test.

Bieber has reportedly hired a crisis management team to help manage the scandal, which was brought to the world’s attention when the suit was filed in a Californian court on Halloween. According to an affidavit made by Yeater, she met Bieber at a concert backstage when the two engaged in unprotected sex.

“He told me he wanted to make love to me and this was going to be his first time.” she wrote in her sworn statement. “After walking away from the other people backstage, Justin Bieber found a place where we could be alone — a bathroom. We went inside and immediately his personality changed drastically. He began touching me and repeatedly said he wanted to f*ck the sh*t out of me. At the time I asked him to put a condom for protection, but he insisted that he did not want to. In his own words, he said that because it was his first time he wanted to feel everything.”

Meanwhile cracks are already appearing in Yeater’s claims that one of the most famous singers in the world is the father of her child. The New York Post tracked down Yeater’s ex-boyfriend who alleged that 11 months ago a pregnant Yeater turned up on his doorstop telling him that he was in fact the father.

“She came back here from California telling me she was pregnant with my child, and I said this is impossible, you’ve been in California two months and back here for only a week,” he told the paper. “After I told her that’s not my kid, you’ve only been here for a week, then she told me, ‘No, I got pregnant before I left by you.’ But it didn’t make sense, because she had a doctor’s note saying she wasn’t pregnant enough for that to be possible. It didn’t add up.”

When the paper asked the ex-boyfriend what he thought of his exes claims that Bieber knocked her up backstage at one his concerts he replied “I know it’s not Justin Bieber. She just wants money. It’s a scam.”
