You might have missed Royal Headache in Sydney as part of Maggotfest last weekend, but if you find yourself in Melbourne, Brisbane and Newcastle you are in luck!

In an era where we are bombarded by one dimensional summertime pop, ironic or “clever” made up electro-cross-genres and disenfranchised too-hip-for-the-audience wayfarer rock, a band that communicates real human emotion like Royal Headache do is essential. They’ve been labelled everything from “motown inspired garage” to “rock n’ soul” by everyone from jaded nerds writing blogs on their mum’s computers to The Rolling Stone.

They’ve just completed a month long tour of the United States of America on the back of their recently released debut album and they’re about to get out and do it again up and down the east coast of Australia throughout November.

Unfortunately this will be the last time Royal Headache performs in these cities for the foreseeable future.
