Having recently been announced for the much anticipated Fat As Butter Festival taking place in in Newcastle later this month, Swedeish electropop duo Rebecca & Fiona have announced a series of club dates this September rounding out their debut Australian appearance.
Their performance at the diverse Fat As Butter Festival lineup will see them play alongside the likes of 360, Seth Sentry, Mystery Jets as well as headliners Good Charlotte and Yellowcard.
The Scandanavian sensations are making some serious waves in Europe and the US at present, with Billboard Magazine recently naming them in their ‘Brightest Stars of 2012’ Feature. As well as the great exposure they’ve already gotten, the girls have toured with Robyn as well as having released collaborations with some of the biggest names in the electronic scene, including Kaskade and Adrian Lux.
‘Luminary Ones’, the duo’s debut single, has been garnering airplay overseas and their live shows have caused a sensation in their native Sweden. This trip will be their first time Down Under and their debut record I Love You Man is set to be released via Neon Records in Sydney. The record features “Luminary Ones’ as well as their upcoming follow-up single ‘Bullets’
