Music is at its best when it’s unpredictable. When it comes packed with surprises, the unexpected. Truly great music has always been about challenging convention, the ‘didn’t see that coming moment’. It’s a tradition that’s at the heart of The Medics – as both people and as artists.

The Brisbane rock group have developed a unique sound that is all over their album Foundations, a record we rated as a “soaring, emotional, and polished debut.” Triple J featured it as their album of the week upon its May 18 release, along with its singles “Griffin”, “Joseph” and “Beggars

The Medics have hit the road, with a honed live show full of musical surprises as well as their own polished performance, on an epic ‘Foundations’ Tour taking them through until October with Melbourne band I, a Man, Canadian’s The Darcy’s and Adelaide band Sincerely Grizzly:
