America’s gifted, prolific singer songwriter, Ron Pope has announced the release of  his first Aussie single, ‘One Grain Of Sand’, the single is lifted from Pope’s new album, Atlanta which is scheduled for release on October 5, ahead of his first ever Australian tour that will see him play three intimate shows at Chapel Off Chapel (Melbourne), The Lair (Sydney) and Old Museum (Brisbane) in November.

Pope awakened a global fan base in 2006 when his single, ‘A Drop In The Ocean’ went viral. With millions of hits on most online versions and over 21 million views of one fan-made video for the song, along with almost one million singles sold on iTunes, ‘A Drop In The Ocean’ has since been featured in numerous
television shows including So You Think You Can Dance, 90210 and The Vampire Diaries.

Atlanta is Pope’s first album to be released in Australia. Brimming with talent and versatility, the album offers everything from heartfelt ballads to drum and guitar-driven rock songs, and has already notched up a number of glowing reviews around the world.

Pope is now heading down under for an east coast tour to show Australia what he’s all about. The three intimate showcases are being held at venues that have been carefully selected to perfectly complement Pope’s raw earnest vocals, profound songwriting and soaring guitars.

Excited to be coming to Australia and grateful for all the Aussie support he’s received over the years, Pope says, “Australian fans were some of the first ones to jump on board for me. Aussies have been asking me to visit for years and I can’t wait to get down there for the first time this November. I really want to hold a koala, so I’m hoping we can finally make that happen while I’m down there!”
