Melbourne outfit Northeast Party House return with their stellar new single ‘Stand Tall’ and national single launch tour.
Following on from ‘Pascal Cavalier’, ‘Stand Tall’, is the second offering from the bands recording sessions held in April this year. Featuring aggressive drums bursts and distorted guitar tones ‘Stand Tall’ shows a new, slightly more serious side to the five piece garage dance band.
Set for digital release on 5 October 2012 via Stop Start, ‘Stand Tall’ is the second track taken from the band’s forthcoming debut album, set for release in 2013.
The ‘Stand Tall’ launch tour kicks off this Wednesday with a showcase at Big Sound, Brisbane also featuring Ball Park Music, Loon Lake, Flume and Millions. Northeast Party House will then play three headline shows Victoria in Geelong, Melbourne and Ballarat, as well as a a support slot alongside Mystery Jets (UK) in Melbourne. The band will play in Perth, Adelaide, Newcastle and Bondi, before wrapping up the tour with an extended stay in Sydneyincluding a performance at UNSW Octoberfest.

Since being ‘Unearthed’ by triple j back in 2010, Northeast Party House have been building a solidlive fan base as a result of their high energy live shows. The band have wowed audiences at Falls Festival and Pyramid Rock Festival, and have supported the likes of Does It Offend You, Yeah?, The Go! Team and Kimbra.
