Jordie Lane will officially release his new single ‘Fool For Love’ on Monday October 8th. To celebrate, he’ll be offering fans a free exclusive download for one week from October 1st at jordielane.com. Jordie and band will also hit the road on a 15-date national tour this November and December.

Grounded in the Blues, ‘Fool For Love’ is a psych-folk rambler. Walking with a West Coast bass line and trashcan drums, the track also sees the return of The Eagle Rock Gospel Choir.

Recorded in LA with Grammy Award winning Producer Tom Biller (Kanye West, Beck, Fiona Apple) and legendary drummer Matt Chamberlain (Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, Stevie Nicks), ‘Fool For Love’ marks a new direction for Australia’s folk troubadour.

It is the first single from Jordie’s forthcoming third album, due for release in early 2013, and follows his critically acclaimed 2011 release ‘Blood Thinner’ which was nominated for ‘Best Blues & Roots Album’ at the 2011 Australian Independent Music Awards.

Currently touring in North America, Jordie will return later this month to support UK Icon Billy Bragg on a solo theatre tour. He will then take his cracking 4-piece band on the road for a nationwide tour with very special guests still to be announced.

Go to jordielane.com from 9am on October 1 to download ‘Fool For Love’ and to purchase tickets for all tour shows.

Single available on iTunes from October 8
