Brooklyn, New York native rapper, Sean Price has been a staple in the New York underground Hip Hop scene for almost two decades. He came to fame as one-half of the duo Heltah Skeltah, under the name Ruck releasing two albums: ‘Nocturnal’ (1996) & ‘Magnum Force’ (1998). Price is also a core member of the legendary Boot Camp Clik collective and has been a key and stand out contributor to all three of their collaborative releases.

Not to be outdone, Sean proved he was more then up to the task as a solo-artist as well, as he contributed one of 2005’s most critically acclaimed and talked about LP’s with his solo-debut ‘Monkey Barz’, which garnished multiple accolades, including being named Source Magazine’s Indie LP of the year, a place on Urb Magazine’s “Hot 100 list” inclusion in the Village Voice’s yearly “Pazz And Jop” poll, 2005 Indie LP of the year from Allhiphop.com and Indie LP of the year nods from Hiphopsite.com, Hiphopdx.com, Soundslam.com, MVremix.com and Sixshot.com.

Sean’s Price’s much anticipated sophomore solo-LP, ‘Jesus Price Supastar’ (2007), was released on Duck Down Music Inc. Many of the same beat makers that helped shape his previous album were back on board to craft another classic LP. This included 9th Wonder, Khrysis, !llmind, MoSS, Tommy Tee and PF Cuttin. Phonte, Skyzoo, Sadat X,Chaundon, Ruste Juxx, and fellow Boot Camp Clik members Rock, Buckshot and General Steele appeared on the album as well. He followed up with the release of a mixtapeentitled ‘Master P’ later the same year, then reunited with his original rhyming partner Rock to release their first Heltah Skeltah album in 10 years entitled ‘D.I.R.T. (Da Incredible Rap Team)’.

In 2009 Sean Price teamed up with Guilty Simpson and Black Milk to create one of the rawest hip-hop supergroups in recent years, Random Axe, releasing their self-titled debut, in June 2011, This album received accolades from media and fans alike for its hard hitting production and fierce, sharp rhymes.

That same year he released a mixtape entitled ‘Kimbo Price’ which served as a prelude to P’s upcoming album ‘Mic Tyson’, which has a release date for October 30th 2012. Hip Hop purists have long recognized and appreciated Sean’s commanding delivery, gruff voice and adroit verses. He mixes his rhyming techniques, with his words weaving in a way that sounds comfortable while creating hilarious punchlines. One thing is for certain – ‘Mic Tyson’ is set to be another classic!
