Evil Eddie, a name synonymous with the DIY ethic, classic beats with a pop edge, and all out fun, has been holed up in his own studio for the past year or so, tinkering away like a mad professor and putting the final touches on his debut opus. Now, as Eddie emerges from the lab, he is ready to show the world what he’s been hiding when he releases ‘Welcome To Flavour Country’ on October 26th and heads out on the road this November to spread Evil Love all over this wide brown land.

Giving truth to the adage ‘there’s no rest for the wicked’, Evil Eddie begins a 20 date national headlining tour almost immediately after the album drops, starting in Byron Bay, moving onto Sprung Festival in his hometown of Brisbane, down to Tasmania, over to Perth and almost everywhere else in between.

Evil Eddie’s live show has grown into a beast all of it’s own, with a full live band in tow, this tour will showcase Eddie’s own homemade visual backdrops. His past video clips have always magnified the cheeky and fun side of Evil Eddie and will be synced to the song as he plays them live. But as a treat for show-goers, Evil Eddie will also be making videos for all non-single songs also, just for these shows. All directed by the man himself.

With that said, it makes sense that Eddie’s new record ‘Welcome To Flavour Country’, available on iTunes and Evil Eddie’s website October 26th and in stores November 2nd, is a crowd-funded project facilitated by Pledge Music and his fans will now have the opportunity to be directly involved in the creation of the record. Various packages are available but $11 will get you a pre-release digital download of the album, so not only are the Pledge prices cheaper than the stores but all digital downloads will be made available on October 19th, a full week prior to the official release date.
