From Cleveland Ohio, Cloud Nothings announce their debut Australian tour for February 2013.

Led by 22 year old Dylan Baldi, the band will perform their anthemic, visceral rock music at two small club shows in Sydney and Melbourne.

They will be joined at both shows by Brisbane’s Violent Soho, who recently released a 7″ through I Oh You, featuring the awesome new track “Tinderbox“.

Cloud Nothings are also set to appear on all stops of the 2013 Laneway Festival.

In the time since his lo-fi home recordings trickled onto the Internet in 2009, Baldi has assembled a trio of bandmates whose past experience playing rigid and expected live shows spurred the decision to mix things up. Looking for a new sound, they decamped to Chicago to record their third album Attack On Memory with Steve Albini in his Electrical Audio studio.

Propelled by grinding guitars and screamed lyrics, Cloud Nothings embraced a darker approach and higher fidelity sound. Attack On Memory has the potential to be the next generation’s musical tome; while tracks like the 9 minute epic “Wasted Days” and “No Sentiment” hurtle towards a grunge revival, Baldi is savvy enough to ensure his music anthemic is without being derivative.

Cloud Nothings bring fans a live show that is visceral and raw, energetic, angry and unforgettable, catch them live on:
