TZU’s fourth LP Millions of Moments was released last month to widespread approval.  A more mature and innovative offering than the band’s past work, not to mention a somewhat darker one, Millions of Moments takes listeners on an atmospheric journey through the hardships of Australia’s past.

TZU’s first two singles from the album ‘Beginning of the End’ and ‘Beautiful’ both found a home on the airwaves of Triple J and community radio across the nation upon release.

The band’s new single is ‘Nowhere Home’, a frantic, upbeat pop gem.  As Joel puts it, ‘Nowhere is about being stranded in time, stranded in Nauru, stranded in the inbox of someone’s misconceptions.’ But whilst the lyrical content reflects the sombre overtones of the album, the music is anything but.  In this sense, ‘Nowhere Home’ is light to the album’s shade.  This is TZU with party hats firmly in place, where pulsing, frenetic beats are backed by an inescapable groove – ‘a weapon of a tune when it comes to live shows and festivals’.

Millions of Moments sees TZU delving further into an electronic realm.  Before the band set to work on the album, they set themselves some ‘creative limitations’ and now the band are on the road touring it. They hit there hometown of Melbourne for a special over 18’s only cup eve show and we have 2 x double passes to give away! So if you’re free this cup eve enter below!
