Victorian indie/pop group The Evening Cast have announced the release their 7 track EP titled Lake through new indie imprint Catch Release Records. In addition to the release of Lake, The Evening Cast are also gleefully excited to introduce new single ‘Knots and Bows’ and the dates for their upcoming national tour.

Proclaimed as ‘Absolutely extraordinary’ by Clare Bowditch, The Evening Cast have collaborated with producer Marty Brown of ARIA award-winning group Art Of Fighting and legendary engineer Joe LaPorta to realize their vision for Lake. The result is the bands most remarkable and cohesive work to date.

The Evening Cast’s live shows have been described as ‘Seriously fabulous and buzzing.’ Their keen ear for melody is unmistakable in new single ‘Knots and Bows’, showcasing the years of music making the group have shared. Sounds Of Oz affirms that the quintets songs are ‘anchored with beautiful vocals and great guitar work’ which will most certainly catch listener’s ears.
