We recently announced the lineup and tour dates for the Boys Of Summer tour which proved to be fantastic news for hardcore fans.
Now, due to unforeseen circumstances For The Fallen Dreams have regrettably cancelled their trip to Australia this January for the 2013 Boys Of Summer tour.
San Francisco’s First Blood will be coming on board to join Deez Nuts, Comeback Kid and Hand Of Mercy on the eleven date run around the country.
Carl from First Blood said “We’re pretty damn pumped to finally return to Australia again, especially with our friends in Deez Nuts and Comeback Kid. See y’all soon in the summertime down under!”
Formed in 2002, San Fran’s legendary First Blood set out to create straight-forward and crushing metal-edged hardcore with a pissed off and in-your-face message.
2010 saw First Blood release their highly-anticipated sophomore album Silence Is Betrayal and since then the band have been on the road peddling the 15 tracks of musical devastation and lyrical condemnation that have made them a band at the pinnacle of hardcore genre.
Also joining this already huge package will be Western Sydney’s Metalcore overlords The Bride are using the Atticus Boys Of Summer 2013 to say goodbye to the stages of Australia.
Having formed in 2006, The Bride cycled through lineup changes and releases before dropping 2011’s acclaimed President Road full length on UNFD.
Having always toured as much as humanly possible over the years with the likes of Confession, Thy Art Is Murder, Deez Nuts and Wish For Wings, the band will bring their youthful edge and energetic take on heavy music to the Boys Of Summer proceedings for the final time, adding a chaotic spark to the lineup already featuring the aforementioned Deez Nuts, Comeback Kid, First Blood and Hand Of Mercy.
