It’s live, it’s local, and it’s coming out of your radio! Drive Live is set again to dominate the PBS airwaves for a second year from Monday February 4th to Friday the 8th during drivetime between 5pm and 7pm.

The drill: three acts, three studios, one drivetime show, for a full week! Featuring blistering live in‐studio performances from a bunch of local and international talent, it’s reasonably mega.

Acts joining the Drive Live 2013 juggernaut include Lower Plenty  (who did super well on our 2012 readers poll) Brothers Grim, Spinning Rooms, Pony Face and The Townhouses (whose debut we have a stellar review to) There’s a seriously large bunch more to be announced.

Music lovers, you’re invited to come down and be a part of the mayhem, but PBS members get dibs. There’s some Coopers to sink, and a fair whack of radio to watch, not to mention a host of excellent local food vendors including The Taco Truck, White Guys Cook Thai, Beatbox Kitchen, Lucky Pops and more, setting up shop at peebs for your culinary pleasure.

Members can RSVP from Friday Jan 25th so keep an eye on www.pbsfm.org.au to get your name on the door, or join the convo on #drivelive.

Drive Live is a permanent fixture on the PBS calendar and part of PBS’ continued commitment to the growth and prosperity of the local music scene. The past roll call for Drive Live reads like a who’s who of Australian independent music, including Twerps, Gareth Liddiard, Bob Log III, The Murlocs, and Graveyard Train.
