After a massive 2012 that encompassed the release of his debut solo recordings The Greenthumb , a 55 show tour around Europe, UK and the US, launch events across Australia and the making of his first music video , Australian folk artist Brett Winterford kicks off 2013 with a national headline tour.

Starting in February 2013, the ‘Hey Make Believer Tour’ will bring audiences in New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia and Queensland a taste of Brett’s folk flavoured daydream.

‘The Greenthumb EP’ is a set of six songs inspired by ‘Pan’ a famous Australian landscape painting by Sydney Long. Recorded by Josh Schuberth (Josh Pyke) it features special guests Mr Percival, Ray Mann and Kent Eastwood.

The recordings deal with the trials and triumphs of the troubadour, the reclaiming of imagination and appreciation for the natural world and they are coloured by nylon-string acoustics and mandolins, pianos and mellotron, shakers, timpani and tom drums.
