After twelve months of crossing the globe more than once in support of his latest album All The Little Lights the respected troubadour and songwriter Mike Rosenberg, AKA Passenger, will return to his adoptive homeland in March and April 2013 for his first tour of Theatres across Australia.

Taking in Melbourne, Hobart, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane and Sydney, Passenger will continue to forge what is already a remarkable story.

After the original 5-piece band Passenger dissolved in 2007 he decided to move ahead under the same banner and hit the streets busking, which was a liberating, and empowering experience.

“Honestly, the more I do it, the more I enjoy it. It’s really exciting that more people are hearing my music now but there is something so simple and honest about playing on the street. It’s also a wonderful way of seeing and experiencing the cities that I’m in. I actually miss it when I’m not doing it so I’m looking forward to getting back out there soon.”

In the Autumn of 2012 Mike headed out on the road with Ed Sheeran, taking in an extensive tour of North America and a 30 date run of the UK that began with 5 x shows at the Hammersmith Apollo in London and culminated in 3 x shows at the famous Barrowlands in Glasgow. The Ed Sheeran tour then moved on for a swing through Europe, which took him to Paris, Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels, Berlin and Hamburg before wrapping in Munich on November 29.

His constant touring has paid off with the current single, Let Her Go, reaching No1 single status in Belgium and Holland in late 2012 and iTunes in the UK calling the album the ‘Singer Songwriter Album Of The Year.’

But there was no stopping there in 2012 and it was straight back to the USA, where All The Little Lights has remained on the Billboard Head Seekers chart for 16 weeks, as he rolled through a headline North American tour with sold out shows in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Vancouver Los Angeles and Toronto.

In early 2013 Mike will embark on a sold out 13 date UK tour, followed by his own largest European headline tour to date and open for Ed Sheeran on his Australian Arena tour in early March.

The story is remarkable with the next chapter just around the corner.
