The First Degree Tour is hitting University campuses nationally this February and March with none other than boogie-inducing Brisbane boys, Last Dinosaurs. Travelling the country with a slew of special guests, there is no better way to welcome in the new semester and a new year than with these purveyors of partying.

Last Dinosaurs are all about making first and lasting impressions, and their 2012 debut album ‘In A Million Years’ is no exception. Renowned for their festive and fun live performances, audiences have bounced along to their summer anthem “Honolulu” on the radio, seen them rock stages at Australia’s biggest festivals and support the likes We Are Scientists and Foals.

Joining the Dinosaurs on stage are indie-dance fiends, Messrs at Adelaide Uni, while over at Curtin University in Perth local indie heroes Rainy Day Women join the line-up. On the east coast, Yacht Club DJ’s as well as Naysayer and Gilsun creating dancefloor mayhem at Monash in Melbourne. Indie-rock outfit and Triple J faves, The Griswolds take on UNSW and Wollongong Uni where they will be joined at UOW with hip hop homeboy Drapht and the likes of the much-loved Strange Talk.

With these names along with more kickin’ acts, there’s no better way to procrastinate from the impending study madness. So add it to your iCal and don’t miss out as Last Dinosaurs bring their flawless guitar laden indie-pop goodness to a University campus near you.
