Ainslie Wills is set to release her highly anticipated album You Go Your Way, I’ll Go Mine on March 4, 2013.

You Go Your Way, I’ll Go Mine comprises 12 tracks resplendent with textured layers of guitars, atmospheric strings and buoyant percussion perfectly combined with Ainslie Wills’ soaring, ethereal vocals which linger long after the last track has ended.

From the spiky, warm pop of singles Fighting Kind and Stop Pulling The String, to the guitar swells and crescendos of Ocean (which was recorded live and unrehearsed) and the soulful promises of sunnier days ahead in Early Morning Light, You Go Your Way, I’ll Go Mine is a powerful debut from singer/songwriter Ainslie Wills.

Inspired by the recording process of albums like Feist’s Metals, You Go Your Way, I’ll Go Mine was recorded over 10 days during the dead of Winter in a beach house on the Victorian Peninsula. Lush layers of strings were added at the Northcote United Church and finally, vocals were laid down in a converted studio in the family home of Ainslie’s best friend. Each location has imbued a uniquely intimate warmth and weightlessness to the tracks and captures the raw honesty and organic qualities of Ainslie Wills’ acclaimed live performances.
To celebrate the release of You Go Your Way, I’ll Go Mine, Ainslie Wills is embarking on her biggest tour to date and will be launching her debut album in Bendigo, Canberra, Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Hobart, Byron Bay, Adelaide and Brisbane throughout April and May.
Don’t miss Ainslie Wills when she brings the aural gems from You Go Your Way, I’ll Go Mine to a city near you!
