We recently announced that Canadian singer-songwriters Tegan And Sara will return to Australia this April and May for a run of headline dates, alongside the already announced Groovin’ The Moo festival where they’ll appear alongside The Bronx, Frightened Rabbit, The Kooks,  They Might Be Giants, and many more.

Due to an overwhelming demand and their new album storming up the ARIA charts, Sydney Opera House today announced Canadian twins Tegan and Sara will perform a second and final show in the Concert Hall on Friday 26 April. Tickets are on sale now.

Touring in support of their highly anticipated seventh studio album, Heartthrob which is out on February 8, Tegan and Sara Quin’s ability to bridge the pop and indie worlds has seen their music cross all traditional boundaries of genre, selling over 1 million albums during their 13 year career, seeing them collaborate with superstar DJs Tiesto and David Guetta and having their work covered by The White Stripes.

From selling out headlining tours to performing alongside The Killers and Neil Young, and playing the world’s biggest festivals Coachella and Glastonbury, Tegan and Sara have cemented their place as one of Canada’s pre-eminent song-writing forces and musical exports, having won themselves an avid global following.

This performance is part of Music at the House, the contemporary music program presented by Sydney Opera House. Music at the House 2013 includes performances by Sarah Blasko, Neil Finn and Paul Kelly, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Tallest Man on Earth, Wilco, Glen Hansard and more to be announced.
