Six60 are returning to Australia in April – the first time the band have played since their successful appearance at Homebake, where the Sydney Morning Herald named them one of ‘Homebake’s Magnificent 7- the hottest emerging Aussie acts’.
Fresh from signing a European deal with Sony Music, this will be Six60’s last tour of Australia before they relocate to Europe for the rest of the year.
The signing tops off a massive 12 months for Six60 – their self titled debut album is nearly quadruple platinum and has delivered five hit singles ranging from gold to triple platinum.
They won six Tui’s including Best Group, Peoples Choice and Single of the Year, successfully toured UK, Europe, Canada and America (where ESPN used songs ‘Forever’ and ‘Run For It’) and broke their own record for the most successful summer tour ever.
In March the band are returning to the USA and Canada to perform at the prestigious SXSW in Austin and Canadian Music Week in Toronto as well as side shows in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York.
Six60 Australian tours have always sold out. This one will be no different.
