UK singer songwriter Ellie Goulding will be playing a one-off show in Sydney at The Metro in Sydney this March.

This one off performance comes whilst Goulding of her much-anticipated Australian festival debut at Future Music Festival 2013.

In 2010, Goulding quite literally took the music world by storm with the release of her record breaking and critically acclaimed debut album Lights. She rose to prominence as one of only two artists to ever simultaneously top the BBC’s sound of 2010 poll whilst also taking out the Brit Critics Choice award – the other artist being Adele.

The huge success that has ensued for the young songstress in undeniable. With over 850,000 sales to date in the UK alone, ‘Lights went on to become the biggest and fastest selling UK album of 2010.

Her success has also been mirrored internationally with over 2.2 million sales of her single ‘Light’s’ in the US teamed with a sold-out Katy Perry tour already under her belt.

Most recently, Goulding has released her sophomore album, Halcyon (out now through Universal). Not surprisingly the album has been met with many an international accolade and also peaked at #10 on the Australian I-tunes chart.

Fans were treated to a first taste of the new record when Ellie posted a free download of the track ‘Hanging On’- a collaboration with Tinie Tempah – on her website. The track has already reached over a million Youtube views and counting!

Ellie’s last show in November, 2012 at the Oxford Art Factory was very quick to sell out. Get in quick for this time around to avoid disappointment!
