It’s official! This year’s Future Music Festival, set to kick off in Brisbane tomorrow, has officially sold out in Sydney just a day after releasing the official set times.

Back in October, we announced the Future Music Festival lineup after many rumours as to who would be headlining the bill circulated.

With the most innovative and dynamic line-up to date, Future Entertainment is bringing you a curated arena and two super-sized main stages jam-packed with some of the hottest talent the world has on offer so it’s no wonder the festival sold out!

The statement on the festival’s Facebook page read:

BOOOM!!! SYDNEY is officially SOLD OUT !!! See you all next Saturday for the biggest Future Music Festival Official Sydney has ever seen!

Rest of the country is following very close behind – don’t miss out on tickets for Brisbane & Perth this weekend !!!

If you thought Future Music Festival was big before, just wait until you see what we have in store for you this year =)

DAY OF THE DEAD-SET AWESOME !!!!

Not all of the rumours turned out to be on the money,  but we will be treated to alternative rock pioneers The Stone Roses who are finally set to bring their Manchester-borne reunion tour to Aussie shores.

Joining them on the live front are fellow Brits Bloc Party who are returning to Australia for the first time since the release of their critically acclaimed new album Four, Aussie favourites The Temper Trap, Gypsy & The Cat, UK powerhouse MC and festival must-have Dizziee Rascal, DJ Fresh, Rudimental, and chart-topping New York pop-rockers Fun.

Electronic icons The Prodigy will also be there, heading up the Warriors Dance Arena – an entire arena dedicated to hard-edged, and heavy bass driven music plus some of the world’s most cutting-edge dub-step acts including Boys Noize, Kill The Noize, Zeds Dead, Borgore, and international tastemaker and legendary DJ in his own right, Zane Lowe.

To top off all the international goodness, local acts were announced for each city last week.

The folks at Future have been busier than ever recently announcing the launch of a new underage music festival, Good Life which will feature the liks of The Amity Affliction, Getaway Plan, Pez Lead and more,  much to the delight of under 18 fans.
