Lo-fi garage pop royalty, King Tuff, is bound for Australia this April!

King Tuff is the brainchild of garage-rocker Kyle Thomas. Known chiefly as King Tuff to the rock-nerd underworld, he has moonlighted in a multitude of bands, such as psych-folk band Feathers, garage punk and Sub Pop affiliated outfit Happy Birthday as well as J Mascis’ doom band Witch.

King Tuff’s charisma is magnetic; his shows have been likened to cheap-beer-soaked tent revivals, while he combines the stadium-sized guitar licks of Erik Cartwright with the bratty whine of Eric Cartman. King Tuff’s solo debut album, Was Dead, was the sort of album most scuzz-loving musicians would incinerate their garages to make! While his latest S/T album won critics over worldwide.

Gracing our shores with his lo-fi garage pop for the first time ever, King Tuff will be a tour that you need to see. Or seek solace. You’ll be pining for weeks after they’re gone.
