Julian Marley, Grammy Nominated Artist, son of the legendary Bob Marley, will hit Australian shores in May for his first headline tour in the region. Julian ‘Juju’ Marley will take in the bright lights of Melbourne, and Sydney, as well as being the first Marley ever to bring a show to Cairns, sure to make History.
Julian Marley is one of the great roots-reggae performers today – the musician, producer and humanitarian brings his 12 piece Uprising group for select Australian shows, performing selections from all releases including his Grammy Nominated 3rd release, Awake! Featuring Damian & Stephen Marley.

It all started for ‘Juju’ as a youth in 1987 when influential Wailers drummer Carlton Barrett was murdered outside of his home in Jamaica, Julian wrote two un-released songs , ‘Uprising’ and ‘What They Did Wrong’ in response to the incident.
In 96’, Julian released his debut entitled, Lion in the Morning. In 98’, Julian contributed a vast range of musical elements to Lauryn Hill’s revolutionary ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’. ‘A Time and Place’ followed in 2003 and in 2009, Julian Marley’s career rose to new heights with the success of his Grammy Award Nominated release entitled, Awake. Julian explains, “There is spiritual energy from the ancestors in this recording.”
