British India’s Controller tour just got a whole lot larger, with 10 extra dates added throughout May and early June.  The extra dates focus on major regional locations (in addition to another Sydney show), allowing the band’s extensive fanbase to see them performing songs from their new album, live.

The release of Controller sees a rejuvenated British India back at the top of their game. Debuting at #10 on the ARIA Albums Chart, Controller features the hit single ‘I Can Make You Love Me’ and the current radio favourite ‘Summer Forgive Me’.

With Controller now in-stores, British India are back on the road, doing what they do best.  Kicking off late last month, the tour has already seen the band travel to New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria.

Like most well-travelled bands, British India spend a vast portion of their time on tour driving from show to show.  As such, they have teamed up with the TAC, taking part in their Roadsmarts program in Victoria to endorse responsible attitudes toward safe driving.

On a national level, the band are also involved with the Live Solution program, which focuses on the disadvantages of binge drinking. Both important issues that touring bands and young people are confronted with from time to time.

Ever-busy, British India were recently selected to perform for Spotify as part of the ‘Spotify Sessions’.  The acoustic performance was recorded in Sydney last week.  The session will be uploaded to Spotify over the coming weeks.  We hear it was a great one, so keep an eye out for it.

Tickets for the new shows are on-sale now via oztix. Many of the shows on the tour are already on their way to selling out, so act fast and don’t miss out on seeing one of Australia’s most exciting bands live.
