With an enviable reputation for captivating live performances and equally touching songwriting, Melbourne’s Liz Stringer has established herself as one of the most exciting and talented local musicians to emerge in recent years.

Having finished a huge 12 months touring nationally with fellow songwriters Mia Dyson, Suzannah Espie, Jordie Lane, and the Livingstone Daisies, Liz Stringer is playing one last farewell full show to bid fond farewell before heading overseas, playing her first band show of 2013 at the Northcote Social Club this Friday 21st June.

Stringer has been touring her critically acclaimed fourth album, Warm In The Darkness, released last year, which earned her two Age EG Award nominations  (Best Female and Best Album) and a place on the coveted shortlist of the eighth Australian Music Prize. This special show will see the core band reunited and will also serve as a farewell gig as Stringer and fellow troubadour Van Walker, who both head to Europe to tour through July.

Come and see what critics and fans alike hold so dear.
