Western Australian songstress Tenielle Neda has just released her second single ‘Moonshine’, out now through Island Records, and to support her new tuen, she’s announced The Moonshine Tour, a quick cross-country jaunt that will see Neda play in Sydney, Melbourne, and round out with a hometown show in Perth.

Tenielle Neda was raised on a plantation in WA’s Carnarvon, and as a teenager shifted to the far north of the state, where she mastered the fine art of driving trains to the port at Dampier and discovered her passion for music quite early on, singing in church. Having chosen a career as a train operator, she later decided to change tracks and take on music fulltime.

Others spotted Neda’s distinctive talent. For her debut EP  Daylight Disguise, she co-wrote with Adrian Deutsch from the Red Riders, as well as Andy Bull, Tim Derricourt from Dappled Cities, Lisa Miller and Nashville great Kim Richey. Drummer Tim Hart from Boy & Bear also helped Neda bring her music to life in the studio.

Neda is set to take on Sydney, Melbourne and Perth with her grand headline shows. Supporting her on this tour are her good friends Kate Martin & Tom Kline. Expect Neda’s intimate shows to be brightened by timeless vocals and take in the magical experience that will be showcased by all.

‘When I first heard Neda’s music I was genuinely moved by two things: The elegance of her vocal and the maturity of her songwriting. For me there is no better combination.’ – Tim Hart, Boy & Bear
