A rock legend and one of Australia’s most powerfully distinctive voices, Jimmy Barnes has announced that he’ll be embarking on a massive tour around the country this August and September for the Welcome To The Pleasure House national tour, courtesey of the Frontier Touring Compnay and Premier Artists.

One of the country’s most beloved and most prolific musicians, Barnes will storming stages around Australia with his live band and a number of special guests, including his equally powerfully lunged singing daughter Mahalia Barnes, while opening on a selection of dates will be Eliza-Jane, Barnes’ second eldest daughter, alongside musical partner Ceci as Evil J & Saint Cecilia.

The solo performer and legendary Cold Chisel vocalist continues to regin as the undisputed king of Australian rock as one of the most popular and highest selling Australian artists of all time, laying claiming to an incredible 13 #1 album across his extensive career. The latest addition to his musical legacy is new single ‘Welcome To The Pleasure House’, a classic slice of rock that proves his songwriting chops – and that distinctive voice – have lost none of their power.

Barnes made a ripping return to the stage alongside Bruce Springsteen for The Boss’ Hanging Rock concerts, both as support act and onstage for a special duet with the American rock legend, and was last seen playing April’s inaugural Stone Music Festival; Jimmy Barnes’ latest tour will see him hitting the road in areas that he’s been unable to visit for some time, taking a break from working on material for a brand new studio album to bring his hits-packed live show to fans across the nation.

“I am writing songs for a new album at the moment and I thought it might be nice to give fans a taste of things to come,” says the singer. “So I have decided to give anyone who buys a ticket to the show a copy of a new song I wrote with Jackson and Harrison Freud. The song is called ‘Pleasure House’ and I have decided to name the tour after the song. So welcome to the Pleasure House, let’s all have a wild time.”

As promised, all ticket holders will be eligible for a free download of the brand new song, his first new material since 2010’s Rage And Ruin and its singles ‘Before The Devil Knows You’re Dead’, ‘God Or Money’ and ‘Largs Pier Hotel’.

All tickets go on sale Thursday 4th July.
