Following last summer’s successful Blur reunion, guitarist Graham Coxon has stated that he’s hoping for more from the band in 2010.

Speaking in an interview with NME magazine, Coxon said he was up for the prospect of another get together. “Everyone has gone back to their day jobs from the Blur thing,” he said. “Damon’s really involved with Gorillaz stuff, so that’s obviously taking up a lot of his time and energy. But I’m open to suggestions as far as next year goes.”

He went on to speak about how much Blur’s summer 2009 dates, and the chance to play with his fellow band mates again, meant to him. He said, “It was really good to play, get close to those boys and play rock concerts.

“The Blur thing was obviously excellent. I mean, you can’t get a better job than that – great big guitar sound and a huge audience. We had such a good time, we all felt so brotherly and the audiences were so great to us.”

So to all the Blur fans – fingers crossed… in the meantime watch the Blur reunion live at Glastonbury in 2009:
