With only a few weeks left until kick-off, the full playing times for Splendour In The Grass have been unveiled for the three-day music festival, which sold out general tickets just one hour after going on sale, with the Country Club VIP passes disappearing soon after.

Following on from the Splendour lineup expanding with the addition of the Red Bull Music Academy’s curated stage and the Triple J Unearthed acts and arts features, Splendour organisers have now turned the focus back to its three main stages, with their official mobile app revealing who’s playing where and when on the Supertop main stage, the G.W. McLennan Stage, and the Mix Up stage.

As is always the case with huge festival bills, there’s a number of clashes, which means that there are some tough decision to be made; Haim and Unknown Mortal Orchestra fans are forced to split their allegiances, You Am I will be (presumably) delivering their classic LP Hourly, Daily on Friday night at the same time that Babyshambles play the Supertop stage, and you’ll need to flip a coin to decide whether to check out either Jagwar Ma or Violent Soho on Saturday afternoon.

However, some clashes are more logical than others. Moody rockers and Splendour exclusives The National will be able to draw indie lovers while Flume provides his dubstep-inflected electronica. Mumford & Sons fans probably won’t be too upset at missing nu-rave rockers Klaxons, while Laura Marling jars against The Presets, and whoever the yet-to-be revealed “Mystery Band” is, you’ll have to give them the skip if you want to catch The Drones’ essential live show or AMP Award winners Hermitude.

No matter what course you chart through Splendour’s three days, if you’ve signed on for one of the electronic wristbands – an Aussie music festival first – the RFID devices will be able to ‘track your journey’ with streaming service Deezer providing post-festival playlists and customised content based on your movements and ‘check ins’; like a benevolent kind of Big Brother. Ponder on that as you grab your highlighters out.
