Jackie Onassis is long-time friends MC Kai Tan and producer Raphael Dixon, and together the Aussie hip hop duo have quickly gained huge recognition both domestically and internationally off the back of a successful 2012 that saw the independent release of their debut EP Holiday drawing huge attention to the pair.

Led by the international success of lead single ‘Crystal Balling’ Tan and Dixon have forged a fiery trail through the hip hop scene, and are now proud to announce their first national headlining trek in the Smoke Trails Tour, starting on the Gold Cost on 1st August before visiting each major state.

Jackie Onassis are no strangers to the road, the Sydney Inner-West twosome have already hit London and England’s prestigious Great Escape Festival as well as stormed the Big Day Out and Come Together Festivals, all within a few short months.

“So far, touring has been crazy. We’re only new to it, but we’ve been lucky enough to play to people all around Australia,” says MC Kai Tan. “Every place is different, but each time we come off stage we’re always blown away by how mad the crowd is.”

“When I saw my first rap show, I lost it cause I’d never seen anyone get the crowd going like that before. So (with this tour) we just wanna make it fun and have a party, and also make the crowd feel like that,” he adds.
