Fortune is the debut album from 19-year-old Brisbane roots musician Will Watson. Sending a call for peace, change, land right and activism through music, he has sent his spirit across QLD and NSW over the past 12 months.
Since the first single ‘Privelege’, off Will’s new studio album, was released in February 2013 he has gone on to complete his first full studio record with close friend and producer Declan Roche, mastered by Dom McGlinn. In the first six months of 2013 he has connected his spirituality across the East Coast of Australia, playing a sold out show at Brisbane Arena, becoming a RAW artist, taking part in Anti-CSG rallys, being picked up by FBI radio (Syd) & 4ZZ (Bris) and completing his first tour in March to promote the first single of Will’s new album Fortune!
Will’s first Australian headline tour to celebrate Fortune will take the 19-year old musician-activist and skater from Queensland’s Sunshine Coast to Melbourne in October 2013. Supported by folk duo Georgia Rose & Sally Ann, Will will be joined by Declan Roche on drums and percussion for the tour.
