The System Of A Down singer and his dad have been working hard for the year and Serj will release his dad’s record through his label.
Khatchadour Tankian, Serj Tankian’s father, is to release his album ‘Inchbes Moranak’ in December, the Australian release date is yet to be confirmed.
A full statement from Serj reads: “Being that the holidays are a time for being with family, I felt it appropriate to update everyone about a project near and dear to my heart, the debut album by my dad, Khatchadour. The album, ‘Inchbes Moranak’, will be out in December at selected record stores, iTunes and our very own web store atSerjicalStrike.com.
“Be on the lookout for more details about my dad’s record and possible future special announcements. As always, I will update you on the happenings. In the meantime, we have created a MySpace and Facebook profile for him.”
