After eons surging through the musical maelstrom, SHE REX mount their live assault on new single ‘P.O.W.E.R.’ from their forthcoming EP, churning along driven with jagged rhymes, fuzzy bass and reckless drums.
The attitude-rich single was featured in a recent Tone Deaf mixtape, quzzing, “Is it hip-hop-inflected rock? Or grunge driven tribal music? It’s neither and yet, in its distorted drum crunch and dirty sonic lashings, a bit of all of the above. Recalling Santigold or M.I.A. at their most sneering in its rap delivery.”
SHE REX have finally assembled and are standing at the ready, set to usher in a new cultural epoch with a raucous ‘fuck you’ to demureness.
