Blues rock ‘n’ rollers the Vernons release their single “Standing In Line” on iTunes on August 9th, ahead of an Australian East Coast tour to promote their debut EP, ‘Volume I,’ released through MGM on September 6th 2013.
The Vernons’ own style of street mix delta blues and old-fashioned rock ‘n’ roll is backed by their howling guitars and smokey rhythmic tones reminiscent of the bygone eras. Engineered by Yanto Browning (Kate Miller-Heidke, the Medics, Yves Klein Blue), their debut EP gives their fans and uninitiated alike, a taste of the heart-pumping belligerence and debauchery the band generates in their live performance.
