Tales in Space have a brand new music video for In a Million Places at Once, which continues to prove the duo as a force to be reckoned with. Directed by production team, Bermudans and shot by DOP Kieran Fowler (Kids of 88, Jinja Safari, Snakadaktal, Opossom, Andy Bull), the clip was inspired by groups of elderly Chinese living in Sydney and their favourite past-times; playing Mahjong and partaking in frequent daytime karaoke. The clip was shot in one day with professional actors, their families and friends, blending a sense of easy entertainment with rich cultural traditions.
Shades reached the #11 most played track of the week position at Triple J in June, receiving high rotation and enjoying significant airwave appreciation around the country. Nominated as a finalist in the Vanda & Young songwriting competition, and gearing up for their impending showcase on the Triple J Unearthed stage at Bigsound 2013, Tales In Space show no sign of slowing down.
