The Valley Fiesta 2013 Lineup has been announced, with an impressive list of homegrown talent playing Brisbane’s biggest annual street party.

Presented in partnership with Brisbane City Council, this year Valley Fiesta 2013 will take place from 22nd to the 24th November, with a long list of Aussie acts running the list from electronic-enhanced indie bands, scuzzy garage rock outfits, chilled producers, DJs, fuzzy rock, hip hop, disco, and much more. The best part? It’s FREE.

Leading the Valley Fiesta 2013 lineup is pop iconoclasts Architecture In Helsinki, who are gearing towards their newest colour-drenched studio album. Fans have already had a taste of the Melbourne maverick’s forthcoming fifth album in the ridiculously infectious single, ‘In The Future’, which has been setting radios alight as well as the Splendour In The Grass and a series of headline shows earlier in the year.

Following Architecture on the Valley Fiesta 2013 lineup is the charming Andy Bull, Ballarat-to-America indie sensation Gold Fields, Brisbane’s own fuzz punks Dune Rats, the blissed out sounds of Hayden James, Melbourne dance provocateurs World’s End Press, as well as a DJ set from the one-and-only Alison Wonderland.

Also on the bill are insistent disco-ists The Swiss, 64-bit producer Wave Racer, hip hop duo Jackie Onassis, 16-year-old Brisbanite Tyler Touché, the lush sounds of Art of Sleeping, breakout rock group The Cairos, Future Classics signee Charles Murdoch, production duo Suburban Dark, rising hip hop star Citizen Kay, Sydney ruffians Palms, the dark, anthemic Mosman Alder, fuzz-popsters Major Leagues, and Sydney based DJ, KLP.

Together, the Valley Fiesta 2013 lineup will spread across a weekend-long street party to satiate even the most savage musical appetite, providing a musical smorgabord of sounds and sights over three public stages and an array of special events.

There’s also a Secret Act to be announced for the Valley Fiesta 2013 lineup, unveiled on the 11th October, there’s the Old Music Awards Showcase – featuring Brisbane indie pop group Cub Sport (nee Cub Scouts) with special guests, and Red Bull Music Academy will host a Rooftop Roller Disco!
