A Four Tet Laneway Festival 2014 sideshow has been announced with the electronic master playing a unique headline show to complement his appearance at the indie boutique festival next February.

Presented by Niche, Four Tet will play an intimate night of ground-breaking, across-the-board seclections at Sydney’s own Goodgod Small Club in his first ever DJ appearance in Australia.

Returning to Australia in 2014, this will be the only opportunity to see Four Tet in Sydney in club mode as he takes to the Goodgod stage for a night long DJ set that is sure to captivate.

For the last decade Kieran Hebden’s Four Tet project has helped shape electronic music’s tasteful future, seamlessly taking in a number of influences yet always remaining unique. 2013 marks the release of his seventh full-length release, Beautiful Rewind, just released this October.

Last appearing at a sold out Metro Theatre in Sydney, Four Tet’s upcoming Goodgod appearance is sure to be another sell-out, providing fans with a night long journey into Kieran Hebden’s unparalleled back catalogue as well as premiering all new material for Australian audiences for the first time – this show marks Four Tet’s first Australian DJ sets ever and fits in the with the tradition of musical luminaries like Jamie xx and Thom Yorke who have performing exclusive DJ sets at Goodgod. As such, it’s destined to sell out quickly!
