Gorillaz virtual frontman Murdoc Nuttals has been tweeting about the forthcoming Gorillaz record. Posting online at www.twitter.com/MurdocGorillaz, ‘he’ stated ‘Album almost finished. Drinks being mastered. Isolation kicking in. Bucket of Propofol to help me sleep. Happy 2010!!’ Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett’s cartoon critters are about to release their third album Plastic Beachin March, according to the group’s sensei. No tour details have been forthcoming unsurprisingly, but any promoter would clearly appreciate touring a cartoon band – they don’t drink, demand drugs and hookers or whinge about early morning lobby calls.
