Meet Florence the preying mantis, the star of the new video for ‘Twin Rivers’, the latest single lifted from Big Scary’s brilliant second album, Not Art, which has seen the Melbourne indie twosome nominated for the 9th Coopers Australian Music Prize, a 2013 J Award, an ARIA Award, and The Age Music Victoria Awards.

Directed by Shaun Garland, ‘Twin Rivers’ features features high-brow cultural references and the most loveable insect you’ve ever seen. “We hope you love it like we do!” say Big Scary’s Tom Iansek and Jo Syme.

Along with the new video, Big Scary release the new Twin Rivers EP out via respected indie Barsuk (worldwide) and Pieater (Aus/NZ). It features remixes from Brooklyn’s The AntlersMenomena and hip-hop producer-extraordinaire Dan The Automator (Gorillaz). The EP also features the excellent ‘Slumming it in Paradise’, the duo’s collaboration with multi-instrumentalist, Jonti. See how it all came together here.
