One of the fresher faces to appear on the Aussie music festival scene, Paradise Music Festival, has announced more acts for its 2013 lineup along with the set times.
Joining the killer list of young and emerging Aussie talent on the Paradise Music Festival 2013 lineup, providing tunes for the three day-two night camping event, is Rat & Co.
Featuring members of the creative team behind chilltronica crooner Chet Faker, Rat & Co. arrive to Paradise fresh from their fist European tour earlier this year, following a series of national live shows that were met with rave reviews.
The picturesque settings of Paradise Music Festival’s Lake Mountain will also provide the backdrop for new Rat & Co. material, as the band have been at work on the follow-up to their debut LP, One (壱) Uno (壹) Ein, hailed by our Tone Deaf reviewer as “fragile, intriguing, and elegant.
Also joining the Paradise bill and headline acts Glass Towers, Elizabeth Rose, Millions, Oisima, Naysayer & Gilsun (DJ Set) and Client Liaison, is the lineup performing exclusively within the Alia Arthouse bar. In collaboration with Melbourne collective Spacewalk, are Gingus, 2fuddha, Island Universe, Null, Flow and Polat, and record label Zero Through Nine presenting Sleep D, Leaks, Wabz and the ZTN DJs.
In addition to a scintillating weekend of exciting new music, patrons will be offered the chance to take advantage of side-attractions at Paradise 2013 such as mountain biking tracks, a tube run, overhead flying fox, and a laser-tag skirmish course. The whole event hosted at the Lake Mountain Alpine Resort near Marysville, nestled up in the regional alpine forest with views of the Victorian Alps and Great Dividing Range.
With a unique setting, a cutting edge lineup, and vibrant extra-curricular activities, Paradise Music Festival 2013 looks set to fulfil the promise of its namesake.
