Smashing Pumpkins are giving away their next album in an increasingly common move by bands that have enough money to retire on already. They’re releasing their next studio recordings for free, one track at a time via the internet.
After uploading a a new tune, A Song For A Son late last year, they’ve now added a second new track, Widow Wake My Mind, to their online player, and it’s available to download now here

The tracks posted online will form part of the forthcoming Teargarden By Kaleidyscope (sic) collection which will be also be released as a limited edition set of physical EPs. The band, which is in essence a Billy Corgan ‘ha ha i got the name’ solo-project as he remains the only original member are believed to be embarking on another top up the pension fund tour in support of the release.
