Red Hot Chilli Peppers have debuted their new guitarist Josh Klinghoffer on the weekend, performing a cover of Neil Young’s A Man Needs A Maid at the MusicCares Person of the Year shindig. The new axeman, replacing John Frusciante, who quit the band for the second time (yeah we’d quit again too if we had to play Under The Bridge every night) in December, is one of a long line of guitarists the band has had, stretching back to original six stringer Hillel Slovak who died of a heroin overdose  in the 80s.
