FAC251, a new club located in the old offices of legendary Factory Records in Manchester opened on Saturday night (February 6th) with a performance from Peter Hook’s all star band The Light.

The former New Order and Joy Division bassist assembled an all star line up which included Primal Scream and former Stone Roses bassist Mani, drug smuggler turned author Howard Marks, former Happy Mondays backing singer Rowetta, and his son Jack.

The show was the hottest ticket in Manchester, with touts selling tickets to the show at massively inflated prices. The band ran through a number of Freebass, New Order and Joy Division songs, finishing with Joy Division’s Love Will Tear Us Apart, before coming back on stage to play a much cheered rendition of Blue Monday.
