The greater joys in life are best when they arrive in threes, to which we can excitedly report a triple-hitter for your Monday: a Ball Park Music Australian Tour 2014 with the release date of their third and most promising record to date Puddinghead, teasing with a sniff of their first single ‘She Only Loves Me When I’m There’.

No strangers to success and nation-wide accolades, Ball Park Music were greatly victorious in 2013 with their Museum-lifted single ‘Surrender’ taking out both the Pop category and the coveted Song of the Year at Queensland’s Music Awards.

Having recorded their previous two long-players between relentless tours, the quintet have allowed a 24-month stint in a shabby northern-Brisbane shack to produce a rough-around the edges organic sound, far from the comforts of a professional recording studio.

The band’s desire to encapsulate their suburban surroundings of leaky-taps, magpies and main roads has heads turning with the band confirming “this is the most excited we’ve ever been about releasing new music”. The release date for Puddinghead is April 4th on Stop Start and Inertia.

Check the promo video for lead single ‘She Only Loves Me When I’m There’ and bare witness to the band’s DIY approach to Puddinghead housed entirely within the walls of their seventies Queenslander digs.

The Ball Park Music Australian Tour of 2014 promises to hit home-runs around Australia with both fresh and beloved material. Jumping on the Ball Park Music Australian Tour of 2014 are Papa Vs Pretty, Holy Holy (NSW, ACT, QLD, VIC) and Jesse Davidson (TAS, WA, NT, SA).
