Roll over Hilltop Hoods and tell 360 and Illy the news, there’s a new kid on the Aussie hip hop block. Quite literally.
He might look like your typically cute 4-year-old – all close-cropped blonde hair and blue eyes – but Seth Kokshoorn has got major A-game, as a clip of the über-young MC demonstrates.
Footage of the young rapper deftly rhyming his way through Bliss N Eso’s 2010 track ‘Reflections’ was shared by the boy’s proud father on the Facebook page of the Aussie hip hop trio, as FasterLouder picked up on.
“This is my 4 year old Seth doin what he loves,” reads the video description, “he blew me away the other day in the car. Hope you like it!”
Bliss N Eso certainly did, as did the other 7,800+ people who lent their virtual thumbs to the post, praising the tyke’s skill with the tongue-twisting Running On Air cut. Most impressively, the 4-year-old makes it look effortless, traipsing his way through the rhyming meter and wordplay like it’s the most basic nursery rhyme, all while tucked away in his booster during a roadtrip with his folks.
The various comments on the post see Bliss N Eso fans offering a variety of kudos, ranging from offering the kid an ARIA to pushing Bliss N Eso to give him a live guest spot; “much better than The Wiggles” notes one commenter, while another simply marvels, “go hard lil homie, bust out hard!”

UPDATE: Seth’s rap also made its way onto national radio, as Bliss N Eso point out, after Triple J Drive host Lindsey ‘The Doctor’ McDougall discovered the rap and chased down the child’s dad for an on-air interview.
The Triple J audio (as heard below) further exhibits the kid’s mad skills by splicing the original a capella rap with the original audio – showing that Seth is in tune and on time. Wow.
The 4 year old Seth’s cover is beautifully timed with news that Bliss N Eso’s current single, ‘My Life‘, has reached Gold sales status in Australia.
The Ceekay Jones-featuring hit is taken from the group’s #1 album, Circus In The Sky – the eight best-selling Aussie releases of last year – and also sees Bliss N Eso embarking on the Circus Under The Stars Tour, their biggest tour yet and a triple bill that makes it one of the biggest Aussie hip hop treks in history.
Tickets for the 15-date national tour went on sale yesterday, and see Bliss N Eso embarking on a series of shows so big they can’t be held in traditional venues. Instead, they’ll be teaming up with two of the country’s most esteemed hip hop names – Seth Sentry and Horrorshow – for a run of outdoor concerts utilising high-scale production across 12 regional areas.
Think of it like a mini-festival with Bliss N Eso as the headliners.
Now if they could only wrangle some state laws to get their 4-year-old fan to open for them… they’ve already noted their keen, posting on Facebook earlier today: “Who thinks we should get Seth (the little legend) up on stage for our #CircusUnderTheStars Tour?!?”
Count our hands well and truly in the air.
