A Twelve Foot Ninja Australian Tour 2014 has been announced, off the back of the band’s epic $52,000+ crowdfunded music video.

Named in honour of their ‘Ain’t That A Bitch’ mini-movie – a pop culture-referencing, gory NSFW tale of internet troll revenge – the Melbourne prog five-piece are embarking on the Troll Burger Tour, a headline trek across the country through March/April before making their grand return to the US for a handful of festivals.

The Australian ‘Troll Burger Tour’ will take place in QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, SA & WA . Joining Twelve Foot Ninja for the tour is explosive French electronic/metal outfit The Algorithm – the brainchild of talented DJ/Producer Remi Gallego, flanked by Monuments’drummer Mike Malytan. The duo will be returning to Australia fresh off their standout performances on the 2014 Big Day Out tour.

With the promise to create an action-packed and gory tale of retribution against an internet troll, Twelve Foot Ninja turned to fans in an effort to crowd fund $45,000 for the making of their latest video – and true to their form of outstanding music videos, Twelve Foot Ninja delivered the goods.

The band pulled out all of the stops for their highly anticipated video, calling on a prosthetics make-up artist who worked on the film The Hobbit, a 7ft Alaskan brown bear and Penthouse Magazine “Pet” Madison Rhys. Also appearing in the video are members of American metal band Periphery.

The single and video ‘Ain’t That A Bitch’, is the fourth single to be lifted from the Melbourne band’s full-length debut, Silent Machine, which has gained the band an international following since its US release last October. Making celebrity fans out of Dream Theater/Transatlantic drum virtuoso Mike Portnoy, Fear Factory’s Dino Cazares, and instant converts out of Periphery after supporting them on a North American tour last year, with Born of Osiris and fellow Aussies Dead Letter Circus.

“Twelve Foot Ninja are basically one of the best live bands I have ever seen in my life,” proclaimed Periphery’s Misha Mansoor.

Come and see the show that has Mansoor, America, and their devoted Aussie fans raving. Don’t miss Twelve Foot Ninja’s Troll Burger tour this March/April.
