You can’t find a person much creepier than Phil Spector. I know we all breathed a sigh of relief when they threw him in the slammer for nineteen-to-life for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson, but we may have to have him back in our lives soon. The world-renowned music producer is appealing his sentence on the grounds of judicial error and prosecutorial misconduct. In other words, the poor little man thinks he was tried unfairly.

His lawyers launched an appeal on the 10th of March claiming that the testimonies of five women used in the murder trial against Spector were improperly used and were not comparable to the circumstances of Clarkson’s death in 2003.
The argument ensuing is simply, “None of the… evidence involved events in which Mr Spector put a gun in someone’s mouth, much less fired it.”

But don’t worry; if he wins the appeal (as if!), he’ll still be locked up for another 3 years. He got four for having an illicit firearm on his property.
