The Splendour In The Grass 2014 lineup has sprung another leak.

While the biggest event on the Aussie winter music calendar is still four months away, rumours over the 2014 bill have already hit fever pitch as a growing number of names let slip of their involvement or added as contenders for the three-day Byron Bay Festival.

Now we can add another name to that list, as the management company of a 21-year-old Aussie producer has leaked his confirmation on the Splendour In The Grass 2014 lineup.

Emerging dance star Yahtzel, the musical alias of NSW artist Max Armata, has been confirmed to play Splendour this July in an artist biography on the young producer featured on the website of his management company, Audiopaxx Agency, as Music Feeds reports.

The Splendour reference has since been removed, but not before is quoted by UNSW Roundhouse in an event listing for their Toga Party gig this Thursday night, which Yahtzel is headlining. Yahtzel has “an EP in the works [and] a spot at famed festival Splendour In The Grass on the horizon…”

The venue quotes from Audiopaxx Agency’s artist profile, stating Yahtzel has “an EP in the works, a remix for Peking [Duk], AND a spot at famed festival Splendour In The Grass on the horizon, proving why he earnt his spot at the top of the Toga bill for 2014.”

An Audiopaxx representative has reportedly also confirmed Yahtzel’s place on the Splendour In The Grass 2014 lineup to Music Feeds, who captured a screen grab of the festival’s mention in the bio before it was removed.

Though only having a few singles to his name, Yahtzel is no stranger to large-scale Aussie festivals, having already performed at Stereosonic, Future Music FestivalField Day, Listen Out, and Groovin The Moo spinoff event, The Plot. More recently, he’s issued ‘The Only One‘, a collaborative single with Future Classic Records artist L D R U, following on from popular singles ‘High With Me‘ and ‘Jungle Feels‘.

In conjunction with the Yahtzel leak, other artists rumoured for the Splendour In The Grass 2014 lineup include Outkast (hotly tipped to headline), Foster The People, Lorde, Damon Albarn, and The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart – all playing Fuji Rock Festival this July, the same weekend as Splendour.

That also puts previously announced Fuji Rock acts in contention for the Aussie festival, including Basement Jaxx, Manic Street Preachers, Franz Ferdinand, Bombay Bicycle Club, Darkside, SBTRKT, Parquet Courts, The Strypes, The Waterboys, BBC Sound Of 2014 pick Jungle, plus Bloody Beetroots, and Australia’s own John Butler Trio.

Other artists on the rumour mill include MetronomyLondon GrammarMikhael Paskalev, the Dew Process-signed Circa Waves, recent Australian visitor Sky Ferreira, plus the artists that played the Splendour & Falls Festival SXSW 2014 showcase; namely Skaters, Basecamp, De Lux, Drowners, Tor Miller, Wolf Alice, Jetta, BBC Sound of 2014 picks Chlöe Howl and Royal Blood, plus Gossling and Dune Rats.
