The Waifs Australian Tour 2014 has been announced, as the band reunite for the first time in three years.

Having spent a temporary sabbatical living their lives in different countries, hemispheres, and timezones, the three members of Aussie folk group The Waifs have seen their band taking a backseat.

Individually, Donna, Vikki and Josh have been busy travelling, relocating and nesting with family, however music has always remained an essential part of their everyday life. But this May finds The Waifs temporarily reunited on home soil – and what better way to celebrate than with a little tour around the country, their first national headline tour since 2011.

The ‘London Still’ hit-makers will play a string of dates around the country along with a special show at the Kimberley Moon Experience. They’ll be performing favourite tracks spanning their 20 year career with a few new songs thrown in for good measure!

From a journey that began in 1992, with two sisters and a friend travelling in a van playing gigs for anyone and anywhere, to half a million record sales locally and multiple ARIA awards, The Waifs have plenty of tales to tell through their music.

And storytelling they do well – their trademark honesty, passion and humour shines through their musical offerings, attracting legions of fiercely loyal fans.

With six studio albums to create a set list from and a long while between shows, this is a tour not to be missed.
